The Guerilla Impulse

The method of guerilla recording impulse response came from the theory that using mobile and very accessible and affordable technologies and apps it is far better to have an archive of heritage sites than not; given the number of sites of significance world wide and the expense and logistics of organising field recording trips that require a mass of equipment and the type of arrangements similarly experienced by film crews with high fidelity, laboratory techniques. Balloons being burst and recorded even onto mobile phone apps can provide excellent impressions of the spaces they represent.
