On April the 24th,2017 Perth College UHI's Audio Engineering department hosted the first Audio Engineering Scotland conference to be held outside of Edinburgh or Glasgow. The topic for discussion was "Acoustics in Creative Spaces" Amongst the presenters I was put forward to discuss archaeoacoustics within the context of acoustics in creative spaces. Despite being a little more esoteric than the other presentations around applied acoustics in recording studios and the like I believe this presentation added an unexpected breadth and depth to the subject discussed.
Many thanks also to John David Moore, AES Scotland and Melvyn Toms JAMES for the organising the conference and JAMES regional meeting Scotland.
Thanks to BSc year 2 undergraduate student Jonathan Vernon for manning the camera and Monika Nizio AES student member for social media advertising and photographs of the evenings events.
